Key Job Outputs<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that safety requirements are met before and during the execution of maintenance tasks
\n\tCollection, preparation, loading, delivery and off-loading of materials to and from place of work as and when required
\n\tErecting scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, in manholes and chambers as and when required
\n\tCarrying out various maintenance tasks with minimum supervision, that includes; Building & Plastering, Tiling, Painting, Plumbing
\n\tGeneral maintenance of building
\n\tReport to and liaise on a regular basis with supervision on services, repairs and routine maintenance to be executed
\n\tCarry out routine inspections on factory grounds, offices and facilities
\n\tEnsure that the factory grounds and buildings are free from debris
\n\tEnsure that administration regarding job cards is duly and accurately executed<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\/ Certificate in carpentry will be advantageous
\n\tRelevant technical experience in facilities maintenance
\n\tAbility to do minor civil, plastering and tiling jobs and carpentry
\n\tAbility to read drawings
\n\tAbility to use power tools e.g. cutting and grinding, (Welding will be advantageous)
\n\tAbility to assist in maintaining and operating utilities
\n\tAbility to work and perform hard physical labour, working on heights, working in confined spaces, working in awkward positions and working under pressure<\/p>\n
