Key Performance Output<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Occupational Health and Safety Quality and will be responsible but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
\tProvide input into planning process within the section and execute the approved plan in accordance with policies, procedures and processes to ensure achievement of operational targets.\u00a0
\n\tAdhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.
\n\tReport non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
\n\tImplement and enforce the ACSA SHEQ Enforcement Systems, Safety Management System, policies and procedures and legislative requirements
\n\tConduct compliance audits, report on and follow-up to ensure that non-conformances\/compliance have been addressed.
\n\tParticipate in Risk assessment for new projects, existing and where there is a change in operation or product.
\n\tEnsure that corrective actions are implemented and closed off in respect of all reported non-conformances, risks and remedial actions.
\n\tPerform trend analyses, compile and submit SHEQ reports as per required timelines.
\n\tDevelop and conduct relevant Safety, Health and environmental campaigns within the airport community.
\n\tComplete Individual Development Plan.
\n\tAttend learning and development courses.
\n\tParticipate in peer and team learning initiatives.
\n\tImplement remedial actions where required.
\n\tEnsure that compliance is achieved through providing safety guidance to stakeholders on ground operation and enforce compliance where non-conformances identified.
\n\tMonitor the implementation of projects in line with the authorization and relevant regulation.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
The following skills and experience will be required:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDiploma Safety \/ Environmental \/ Risk\u00a0Safety \/ Environmental \/ Risk Management \/ Public Health is essential
\n\tBachelor\u2019s Degree (3 years- 360 credits) in Safety\/Environmental\/Risk Management\/Public Health is recommended\u00a0
\n\t2-3 years Operational experience in Safety \/ Environmental \/ Risk Management \/ Public Health is Essential
\n\t2 years Operational experience in Safety\/Environment\/Risk and Quality management in an airport environment is recommended
\n\tValid Code B driver\u2019s license
\n\tIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages\u00a0<\/p>\n
