strategy within various Client sites &amp; ensure SLA delivery<\/p>\n<p>MAIN OUTPUTS<br \/>\nUTILIZATION OF GENERATORS:<\/p>\n<p>\tAnalyze the daily running report &amp; ensure that all Co. owned generators are efficiently utilized<br \/>\n\tSupervise generator field teams &amp; ensure maximum optimization, high levels of productivity &amp; cost effectiveness<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all job cards are captured on the system after completion of tasks<br \/>\n\tAttend to &amp; follow-up on discrepancies on the daily running report &amp; Asset Register (generator schedule)<br \/>\n\tProvide a weekly\/monthly progress report to National Operations Manager &amp; provide prompt remedial plan on open job cards<\/p>\n<p>DEPLOYMENT, OFF-HIRE &amp; SWOPS (EXCHANGES):<\/p>\n<p>\tVerify the availability of generators &amp; resources, as per the schedule received from the Workshop<br \/>\n\tPrioritize open calls for generator deployment\/Off-hire\/Swops &amp; follow-up with the NNOC in ensuring compliance with SLA<br \/>\n\tEnsure availability of vehicles, tools &amp; test equipment for the shift teams<br \/>\n\tAttend to &amp; manage escalations from the NNOC pertaining to late deployment\/Off-hire\/Swops of generators<br \/>\n\tMonitor progress on completion of open calls on daily basis<br \/>\n\tConduct audits on all equipment &amp; tools &amp; ensure appropriate working condition of such thereof<br \/>\n\tAttend weekly meetings with the Client on work progress &amp; Corrective Action Report (CAR)<\/p>\n<p>POWER ALARMS:<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct root-cause-analysis on triggered power alarms<br \/>\n\tMaintain record &amp; report monthly on incidents relating to power alarms &amp; provide remedial action taken to National Operations Manager<\/p>\n<p>HSE:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance to Occupational Health &amp; Safety Act<br \/>\n\tConduct monthly HSE meetings &amp; weekly tool-box talk with staff, keep attendance registers<br \/>\n\tEnsure that health &amp; safety files are in place for all teams &amp; sub-contractors at all times<\/p>\n<p>MANAGING BUDGETS:<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimise S&amp;T expenses relating to \u201csleep-outs\u201d, through optimization of routes<br \/>\n\tEnsure that overtime is kept at minimum levels, all overtime work to be pre-approved<\/p>\n<p>MANAGING STAFF:<\/p>\n<p>\tManage performance, discipline &amp; conflicts within the Generators team &amp; effect corrective action in line with company policies\/procedure<br \/>\n\tEnsure that performance contracts (PDMS) are in place &amp; conduct timeous performance appraisals<br \/>\n\tResponsible for training, coaching, mentoring &amp; development of the Generators team &amp; ensure PDPs for all staff are in place<br \/>\n\tEnsure adequate staff placement i.e. prepare suitable shift-roster &amp; manage\/approve applicable leave for staff<br \/>\n\tManage absenteeism &amp; effect timeous remedial action<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS \/ REQUIREMENTS \/ KNOWLEDGE \/ SKILLS \/ EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>The Applicant must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum N6 in Mechanical Engineering, with a Diesel Mechanic Trade-Test<br \/>\n\tTrade Tested<br \/>\n\tGrade 12<br \/>\n\t08 Driver&#8217;s License<br \/>\n\t5 years relevant experience within generators deployment environment, with 2 years in a leadership role<br \/>\n\tAppropriate competence for the role.<br \/>\n\tAbility to deliver precise and concise reports.<br \/>\n\tGood knowledge of monitoring and operating equipment in a production environment.<br \/>\n\tHave broad technical knowledge in a generator\u2019s deployment field within base station environment<br \/>\n\tProficiency in MS Word, MS Excel &amp;
