{"id":20023,"date":"2025-09-26T08:02:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T08:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/loss-control-committee-members-marketing-internship\/"},"modified":"2025-12-27T00:25:01","modified_gmt":"2025-12-27T00:25:01","slug":"loss-control-committee-members-marketing-internship","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=20023","title":{"rendered":"Loss Control Committee Members \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Marketing Internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Description<\/p>\n<p>\tTo perform an assessment and determination; and recommend investigations related to irregular; and fruitless and wasteful expenditure<br \/>\n\tTo ensure that the requirements of National Treasury Instruction Notes 4 on Irregular, Fruitless and Wasteful of 2022\/23 and related annexures are complied with<br \/>\n\tTo ensure that the National Treasury guidelines on irregular &amp; Fruitless and wasteful are followed.<br \/>\n\tTo resolve cases of losses due to theft, damages, accidents, incurrence of fruitless and irregular, wasteful expenditure, assets and inventory items within the working environment and to determine accountability and liability with regards to cases of any loss and\/or damage through criminal acts, negligence or omissions<br \/>\n\tTo recommend recovery of losses or damages resulting from irregular or fruitless and wasteful expenditure from the person liable for that expenditure.<br \/>\n\tTo refer matters of damages, losses and claims of any nature necessary for investigation to the risk unit.<br \/>\n\tTo recommend write-off of money owed to the CSOS in monetary value as prescribed by the PFMA and the Treasury Regulations.<br \/>\n\tTo make recommendations regarding the strengthening of internal controls to prevent or mitigate future losses as a result of irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure<br \/>\n\tTo make recommendations about possible condonation of irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure after properly assessing each case and to ensure that such recommendations comply with the frameworks<br \/>\n\tTo ensure that a loss is recommended to the Chief Financial Officer for recovery in terms of the Debt Management Policy<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tNQF level 8 Legal\/Accounting\/Audit\/Finance\/Risk Qualification<br \/>\n\t10 years working experience in legal, finance, accounting, audit, risk environment with at least 3 years leadership\/managerial experience<br \/>\n\tWorking knowledge of at least contract law, financial management law, corporate law<br \/>\n\tExtensive knowledge of relevant Supply Chain Management legislation\/prescripts in the public sector, including but not limited to National Treasury Regulations, Instructions in SCM and relevant provisions of the Public Finance Management Act as well as the PPPFMA Regulations.<br \/>\n\tAt least 3 years&#8217; experience in compliance related committees as members<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS)","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) is established in terms of the Community Scheme Ombud Service Act, 2011 [Act 9 of 2011) to regulate the conduct of parties within community schemes and to ensure their good governance.
