RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Labour & Container Management<\/p>\n
\tRequest labour support from the Depot Manager to ensure efficient vehicle loading and off-loading.
\n\tInspect containers for defects before loading and report findings to the Depot Supervisor.
\n\tOversee safe and damage-free loading of containers for transit.
\n\tSupervise all loading and off-loading processes, ensuring product security.<\/p>\n
Invoice & Documentation Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all invoices are received in line with pre-planned SAMIS Route Planning.
\n\tComplete and process all necessary despatch documentation for sub-contractors and couriers.
\n\tMaintain proper filing and matching of proof of delivery (POD) documents with relevant orders\/invoices.
\n\tTrack and report any outstanding PODs to the Depot Supervisor.<\/p>\n
Delivery Scheduling & Coordination<\/p>\n
\tArrange collection and delivery appointments with sub-contractors and couriers.
\n\tSchedule delivery times with both customers and COD customers.
\n\tEnsure a fully completed and signed POD is received for all dispatched goods.<\/p>\n
Cash Handling & Financial Transactions<\/p>\n
\tReceive and sign for COD payments collected by drivers and forward them to the Admin Clerk at the end of each day.
\n\tEnsure signatures are obtained for all money transfers between depot personnel.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 National Senior Certificate (Essential)
\n\tWarehousing Diploma (Ideal)<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tWorking in a distribution warehouse or depot 2+ years
\n\tExperience working with despatching.
\n\tExperience in managing staff\/drivers<\/p>\n
