\tThis position based at the new ER24 mining site in Baberton, Mpumalanga
\n\tTo attend to site based emergency calls and provide medical care in line with scope of practice.
\n\tAppointment for this position is subject to successful completion of physical fitness and medical assessment<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS<\/p>\n
\tEnsure operational readiness for emergency calls
\n\tAdminister patient care in line with the scope of practice
\n\tProvide professional emergency services to site-based clients<\/p>\n
REQUIRED EDUCATION<\/p>\n
\tESSENTIAL EDUCATION:\u00a0Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate \u00a0or\u00a0Higher certificate\u00a0in emergency medical care\u00a0
\n\tDESIRED EDUCATION:\u00a0Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.\u00a0<\/p>\n
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:\u00a01 year EMS experience
\n\tDESIRED EXPERIENCE:\u00a01 year ILS experience<\/p>\n

\tFacilities, travel routes and demographical area
\n\tHPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
