Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tMonitors and improves the maintenance of the Production Unit by overseeing maintenance staff and equipment; ensures employees comply with safety procedures and standards.<\/p>\n
About The Role \/ What You Will Do<\/p>\n
\tCoaching and mentoring teams in order to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.
\n\tCreating work plans for staff and contractors; reviewing the maintenance work performed by technicians.
\n\tMaking purchasing decisions and recommendations regarding equipment and tools; training the workers periodically on various maintenance processes and techniques.
\n\tMonitoring the maintenance budget; identifying cost-effective alternatives for current maintenance activities.
\n\tTracking daily inventories, inspecting production units for wear and tear; ensuring replacements are made on time.<\/p>\n
What You Have – Skills And Experiences<\/p>\n
Planning – Tactical, Strategic:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.<\/p>\n
Conflict Management:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level.<\/p>\n
Problem Solving:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.<\/p>\n
Project Management:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.<\/p>\n
Manufacturing Preventive Maintenance:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of manufacturing equipment and its functioning; ability to conduct Preventive Maintenance at scheduled intervals to determine equipment’s corrective actions and avoid untimely breakdowns.<\/p>\n
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM):<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of total productive maintenance principles, methods, and processes; ability to maximize machinery effectiveness through active involvement of all supporting departments.<\/p>\n
Plant Facilities Management:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of processes, methodologies and techniques used to manage plant facilities; ability to handle the full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Plant Operation and Maintenance:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of plant operation principles, methods and processes; ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility.<\/p>\n
Additional Information<\/p>\n
\tThis role requires an in the office 5-day-a-week work schedule.<\/p>\n
