Resource Optimisation<\/p>\n<p>\tShape and influence capital and balance sheet strategies to support business growth and financial resilience.<br \/>\n\tEvaluate resource allocation proposals and contribute to enterprise-level prioritisation aligned with return objectives.<br \/>\n\tUse advanced analytics to identify portfolio tilts and strategic investment areas across customer segments and sectors.<br \/>\n\tAssess trade-offs between risk, return, and growth to inform high-impact business decisions.<br \/>\n\tTranslate financial insights into actionable recommendations on resource deployment and performance improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Financial management and Business Partnering<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with business unit or function heads to determine their performance reporting needs (both financial and non-financial) and agree on deliverables annually.<br \/>\n\tGuide the setting and translation of performance targets to business units and products.<br \/>\n\tMonitor return delivery and provide insights to optimise portfolio and pricing outcomes.<br \/>\n\tSupport robust governance across financial resource decisions, pricing practices, and performance monitoring.<br \/>\n\tEnsure consistent application of frameworks that support disciplined financial management.<br \/>\n\tProvide thought leadership through financial insight and external benchmarking.<br \/>\n\tPartner with senior stakeholders across business, finance, risk and treasury to embed FRM principles into core decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Analytics and Resource Optimisation<\/p>\n<p>People Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop internal capability by recruiting and developing a capable team to ensure the necessary resources are in place to achieve business strategy and objectives.<br \/>\n\tImplement the people management strategy for the area, in collaboration with the HRBP for the business unit, focusing on talent management, development, resourcing, and retention.<br \/>\n\tEmbed formal Performance Development and informal coaching within the team.<br \/>\n\tMotivate the team and implement measures to recognize and reward direct reports.<br \/>\n\tInspire team members through coaching and mentoring, helping them to perform optimally in alignment with the vision and values, and create a sense of urgency and excitement around the business.<\/p>\n<p>Education and Experience Required<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum B-degree (NQF level no.7) Desired Post Graduate Degree (NQF level no.8+), CA (SA) or CIMA or MBA \u00a0or Actuarial Science or Engineering<br \/>\n\t5+ years professional financial management experience<br \/>\n\t5+ years Banking Experience at a management level<br \/>\n\tPreferred team lead in Finance Function teams or in professional environments<br \/>\n\tExperience in business transformation contexts related to exponential business growth<br \/>\n\tExperience in commercial innovation environments<br \/>\n\tBroad Finance including strategic, commercial, legal, risk and operational aspects<br \/>\n\tAbility to build, develop &amp; lead professional level teams<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of the financial services sector within a professional business environment<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of people change management<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge &amp;
