Key responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDesign, implement, and evaluate adult education and skills development programmes.
\n\tDevelop lesson plans, training materials, and resources tailored to learner needs.
\n\tFacilitate workshops that create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
\n\tAssess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor outcomes.
\n\tCollaborate with staff, tutors, and community partners to support programme success.
\n\tConduct quality assurance, monitoring, and evaluation of training interventions.
\n\tSupervise and mentor volunteers, interns, and the Learning and Development Officer.
\n\tMaintain accurate programme records, reporting, and compliance documentation.<\/p>\n
EDUCATION and\/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
The following education is required:<\/p>\n
\tA relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Sociology, Social Development, Community Development, Social Science, Education, or Adult Education.
\n\tMinimum 5 years’ experience in implementing community development programmes.
\n\tAt least 5 years’ experience in training facilitation and\/or group training.
\n\tAccredited Skills Development Facilitator training is advantageous.
\n\tKnowledge of the National Qualifications Framework and Community Education & Training Centres.
\n\tStrong communication skills in English and one other official language of the Western Cape (Afrikaans or isiXhosa)
\n\tProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
\n\tValid Code EB (08) driver’s license.<\/p>\n
