This position will focus on the following:<\/p>\n
Customer & Sales Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProvides customer service and support to regulators, operators, and suppliers within the gambling industry.
\n\tDevelops and maintains a strong understanding of each assigned customer\u2019s needs and market position.
\n\tManages the full sales cycle, from lead generation and contract negotiation through to post-service follow-up.<\/p>\n
Technical Evaluation & Compliance<\/p>\n
Conducts evaluations of submission files, identifying areas of regulatory concern and providing appropriate determinations. Tasks include:<\/p>\n
\tReviewing incoming submissions and critical modifications
\n\tPerforming technical evaluations and outgoing reviews
\n\tInvestigating bugs or issues and documenting findings
\n\tDeveloping certification report disclosures
\n\tReviewing verification utilities and procedures for regulatory compliance
\n\tEvaluates supporting documentation related to product submissions and testing.
\n\tDemonstrates expert knowledge of gaming products and maintains familiarity with common industry technical standards, including GLI Standard Series and Evolution.
\n\tMaintains up-to-date understanding of internal controls and jurisdictional requirements.<\/p>\n
Leadership & Team Support<\/p>\n
\tActs as a subject matter expert and provides guidance on complex regulatory and technical matters.
\n\tMentors junior Technical Compliance Engineers (Levels I, II, and III).
\n\tAssists the Manager in monitoring workload distribution and ensuring efficient assignment of work.
\n\tObserves and communicates team performance concerns or trends to the Manager.
\n\tAssists in developing and maintaining departmental procedures.
\n\tUtilizes JIRA to manage personal tasks and monitor team assignments and targets.<\/p>\n
Cross-Department Collaboration & Training<\/p>\n
\tCollaborates with departments across offices to address regulatory technical issues.
\n\tProvides technical training and workshops to both internal teams and external clients.
\n\tRepresents the company at industry tradeshows and conferences, including speaking engagements as assigned.<\/p>\n
Other Duties<\/p>\n
\tTroubleshoots and proactively resolves issues, recommending process improvements where applicable.
\n\tPerforms additional duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Education, Experience and Skills:<\/p>\n
\tA degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a similar field is required.
\n\tFormal training, experience, or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered acceptable in lieu of the educational requirements.
\n\tA minimum of 3 years of experience with gaming device hardware and software testing is required.
\n\tInternal candidates: Must be level II and above in Engineering\/Math Department
\n\tKnowledge of land-based (provincial, state, and tribal) and digital (online and mobile) gaming and\/or gaming requirements is preferred.
\n\tProficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
\n\tMust have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
\n\tMust have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations and field questions from large audiences.
\n\tMust have the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and exercise sound judgment.
\n\tMust have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
\n\tMust demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
\n\tMust have a valid driver’s license and passport.<\/p>\n
