Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for unit\/plant operations, especially to keep established timing, quality and cost standards, as well as personnel management.
\n\tResponsibility for plant operations and incl. QHSE requirements for the plant and personnel
\n\tStrive to ensure implementation of DSO culture within the mission critical squad.<\/p>\n
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tResponsibility for plant operations and incl. QHSE requirements for the plant and personnel
\n\tResponsible for safety on the line and all LOTO instructions and procedures.
\n\tResponsible for machine safety , Gemba walks and risk assessments
\n\tSupport production planners in the planning activities
\n\tPersonnel planning, staffing, organization and coaching
\n\tPersonnel administrative tasks and disciplinary measures
\n\tEnsure proper functioning of facilities and the attainment of production goals set out by plant management
\n\tEnsure training on production processes, optimizations and continues upskilling of line drivers
\n\tProvide plant orientation for new hires & competency declaration
\n\tSolve production disturbances with lean tools e.g. 5 Why, Fishbone, ect\u2026
\n\tPerform in process quality checks on QM online, when checking progress on the production lines
\n\tConsolidate process order and perform final confirmation of process orders in SAP
\n\tReport on OEE
\n\tShare communication and information in respective unit and with main interfaces, e.g. production goals and facility changes
\n\tDocument production processes versus standard production requirements
\n\tReport in Tier2 meetings
\n\tSupport One management system activities \/ philosophy and best practice roll out in the area
\n\tParticipate and contribute \u00a0in PHA \/PPS assessments
\n\tParticipate and contribute to audits
\n\tBack-up for other experts in Production area, Line Driver or General Work in Filling plants
\n\tProvide coaching and mentoring to Line Drivers \/Operators
\n\tSupport 3rd Party functional outsourcing with planning, set-up of machines and 4 eye checks
\n\tHousekeeping of workplace
\n\tForklift driving or operator automatic pallet jack
\n\tAny other function on site as requested by Experts or Unit Leaders<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent
\n\t10 Years of experience in a chemical \u00a0manufacturing \u00a0
\n\tProduction Management an Advantage
\n\tGood Basic Mathematical skills
\n\tLeadership skills
\n\tYellow Belt \u00a0in LSS
\n\tSituational Leadership skills
\n\tTOPPS
\n\tGood written and verbal communication
\n\tSAP experience
\n\tMicrosoft Office
\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n
