Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n
\tThe Warehouse Planner is responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of outbound orders within the Key Warehouse. This role ensures that daily picking operations are executed on time and in full, leveraging WMS and Freightwarev7 systems. The planner will monitor picker performance, maintain KPI compliance, and produce daily operational reports to support continuous improvement and service excellence.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities\u00a0
\nOrder Planning & Execution<\/p>\n
\tPlan and schedule outbound orders to meet customer delivery timelines
\n\tAllocate resources and prioritise picking tasks based on order urgency and volume
\n\tEnsure optimal workflow and load balancing across picking teams<\/p>\n
System Utilisation<\/p>\n
\tOperate and maintain accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
\n\tUse Freightwarev7 for transport planning, load optimization, and dispatch coordination<\/p>\n
Performance Monitoring<\/p>\n
\tTrack and report on picker productivity and KPI adherence
\n\tIdentify and address performance gaps and escalate issues where necessary
\n\tCollaborate with team leaders to ensure targets are met daily<\/p>\n
Reporting & Analysis<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all outbound activities comply with company policies and safety standards
\n\tParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance<\/p>\n
Compliance & Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all Health and Safety standards are upheld within the work environment
\n\tMaintain daily housekeeping standards in your designated workspace
\n\tParticipate in operational functions as required, ensuring compliance with safety and procedural guidelines<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (Matric)
\n\tLogistics or supply chain qualification an advantage
\n\t2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in warehouse planning or outbound logistics in FMCG
\n\tStrong working knowledge of WMS and Freightware v7 (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
