Main Purpose of the Role:<\/p>\n
\tThe Supervisor, SCM Control Tower has the responsibility for the daily operational quality standards delivered by the SCM Control Tower and leads the team in all operational aspects of the daily business.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSupervise staff on operational tasks
\n\tMonitor that all work assignments are performed on time.
\n\tTrain staff in accurate handling of defined work instructions.
\n\tSupport the staff in troubleshooting issues
\n\tMonitor service quality provided to clients
\n\tMonitor KPI target compliance internal and external
\n\tObtain strong working user experience with department key activities
\n\tActive exception management
\n\tLead continuous improvement initiative
\n\tDevelop relationship with clients and becomes familiar with key contacts, unique requirements and operating processes.
\n\tEnsure that DSV processes are meeting target services levels.
\n\tEnsure that the SCM Control Tower team is meeting DSV and specific client setup KPI targets.
\n\tMonitor that the counterparts from operational teams are meeting DSV and specific client setup KPI targets.
\n\tEstablish a very strong knowledge of DSV\u2019s freight forwarding product offerings and procedures to ensure flawless cooperation between operational departments and SCM Control Tower.
\n\tUnderstand, investigate and solve any complex client requests or complaints, particularly when multiple departments or teams involvement is required.
\n\tRelay consistent issues to Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
\n\tEscalate to Manager proactively on continuous disputes, high level decisions and high-profile service issues and potential risk situations.
\n\tChampion SOP adherence and updates
\n\tLead monthly KPI meetings with Super Users
\n\tDrive cross-functional collaboration
\n\tInterpret and validate commercial documents
\n\tDeep understanding of freight forwarding and POM<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)
\n\tB. Com Logistics\/Supply Chain Management beneficial<\/p>\n
Additional Computer Skills:<\/p>\n
\tOffice 365 (Teams, OneNote, Forms), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook<\/p>\n
Job-Related Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMin. 6 years\u2019 experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry
\n\tStrong industry knowledge and Supply Chain understanding<\/p>\n
