Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of a Millwright is to maintain all machinery for optimal reliability and availability. They are also responsible for dismantling equipment and being responsive to production needs and equipment failures.<\/p>\n
Maintenance and Repairs<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
\n\tRepair equipment when required at all times within the shortest possible time frame
\n\tResponsible for adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
\n\tResponsible for operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineries
\n\tResponsible for compiling maintenance schedules (Weekly, Monthly)
\n\tResponsible for keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation<\/p>\n
Fault finding and analysis<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
\n\tResponsible for sharpening and maintaining machine tools<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Mechanical\/Electrical engineering\/Millwright Apprenticeship
\n\tRed Seal
\n\t3-5 years\u2019 experience as Technical trainer in the branding industry<\/p>\n
Skills, Abilities and Job-Related Knowledge:<\/p>\n
