\tResponsible for the effective day-to-day shift supervision of cinema operations and the cinema team with specific regard to maintaining products and standards of operation, maximising guest experience, ensuring all operational efforts achieve the organisational strategies and objectives, maximising operational efficiencies.<\/p>\n
Multi Skilled Supervisor Job Duties: \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEfficient stock control methods: stock management end to end (stock levels, Cost of Sales, Risk Management, etc.)
\n\tEnsure float management and control
\n\tManage and control cashier variances
\n\tResponsible for end-to-end banking processed and monies received
\n\tControl of all vouchers and complimentaries issued
\n\tHit Rate
\n\tSPP (Spend per Person)
\n\tEnsure cinema is opened and closed at the correct times
\n\tEnsure sufficient stock available \/ prepared in line with forecasts and operational requirements
\n\tStaff work orders to be in line with operational requirements
\n\tShift preparation processes to be adhered to and implemented timeously
\n\tPut in place staff scheduling and duty allocations to ensure optimal staffing and all duties are executed accordingly
\n\tOversee support departments including cleaning services
\n\tHandle shift briefings \/ handovers \/ shift reports
\n\tInteract and be present on the cinema floor during shift to understand and assist guests with requests, special requirements, recommendations, concerns, resolution of complaints, etc.
\n\tManage all refunds, readmissions and complimentaries issued
\n\tManage staff appearance and cinema appearance\/ functioning of equipment and systems for the outlet
\n\tReport and resolve any issues experienced
\n\tCommunicate changes in regulations and the business requirements to staff
\n\tCommunicates cinema\u2019s objectives, standards and operating procedures to internal and external service providers as per SOP\u2019s and or SLA
\n\tImplements business action plans
\n\tMonitors and report on product performance and include in shift report
\n\tEnsure excellent levels of operational efficiencies through company provided processes and procedures
\n\tProvide input into post-mortem of all strategies and processes implemented
\n\tManage Technical, ICT and projection related issues
\n\tAdhere at all times to legislative; and health and safety processes
\n\tAdhere to cinema specific obligations and processes i.e. Prestige
\n\tEnd to End compliance to all SOP\u2019s and the Operations Manual
\n\tAdherence to SOP\u2019s related to Occurrence Book entries.
\n\tManage staff conditions of employment, e.g., attendance, absenteeism, leave, adherence to policies and procedures (including SOP\u2019s and Operations Manual)
\n\tIdentification of employee training needs
\n\tManage employee relations within the cinema
\n\tStaff communication and motivation
\n\tOnboarding of new staff members
\n\tEnsures that guests are treated with courtesy and respect
\n\tShift hand over ensures that staff can provide guest with relevant insight
\n\tMaintain visible management presence in the cinema at all times<\/p>\n
Qualifications: \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric Essential
\n\tMinimum NQF Level 5 Qualification advantageous
\n\tAbility to work shifts<\/p>\n
Experience and Knowledge of: \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProficient in MS office
\n\tMinimum 12 months or more working experience as an MSE
\n\tVISTA \/MYCC<\/p>\n
Skills: \u00a0<\/p>\n
