PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThe aim is to oversee site SHEQ responsibilities including administration within the \u00a0division.The main purpose of the role to prevent incidents, accidents, ensure development,maintenance of high SHEQ standards and drive compliance.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
SHEQ Administrator\/Training Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all staff receive adequate SHEQ training relevant for their position include development and implementation of training plans\/ matrix.
\n\tImplementation and monitoring of medical surveillance e.g. bookings and planning of annual \/ periodic medicals assessments.
\n\tManage subcontractors and ensure contractors pack maintained.
\n\tConduct regular audits, inspections, reflect findings in risk assessments and ensure hazards are rectified.
\n\tEnsure Company SHEQ goals and objectives are achieved,
\n\tSHEQ officer must ensure that employees are well equipped and resourced (PPE and SHEQ equipment)
\n\tArrange and Organize SHEQ campaigns (Venue\/Transport\/Catering)
\n\tCartrack Monitoring and Assistance (Reports\/Tracking of speeding violations)
\n\tCoordinate SHEQ Meeting, ensure record keeping and update SHEQ system (load and monitor close off of actions on SHEQX ) Coordination of Training Sessions (Venue\/Attendance\/Catering)
\n\tDrive internal cost saving Initiatives on training interventions
\n\tFacilitate accident and Incident investigations. Compile reports and monitor implementation of actions.
\n\tManagement and Administration of learnership and graduate programs(SETA)<\/p>\n
Managing the team<\/p>\n
\tMonitor, evaluate staff performance and development
\n\tEnsure compliance with policies and procedure complied with. Implementation of the accountability framework
\n\tCreate Training Awareness programs by making use of the appropriate media.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tCompile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly SHEQ reports to relevant persons.
\n\tReport and administer all injury related incidents to the Workman Compensation.
\n\tReview submitted stats and compile reports\/graphs.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tCOMSOC 1 * COMSOC 2
\n\tSAMTRAC
\n\tDiploma in Health and Safety would be an advantage<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tRelevant 5 years SHEQ experience in Mining \/ Construction
\n\tIsometrix and HSEC Online administration<\/p>\n
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED<\/p>\n
\tMust be computer literate in all Microsoft office packages
\n\tMust be able to work under pressure
\n\tTime Management
\n\tPeople Skills<\/p>\n
