Primary purpose of the job<\/p>\n
\tTo carry prime responsibility\/accountability for managing the Assembly Part Manufacturing in all its facets, including the infrastructure to support the process, in order to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled through cost effective resource utilisation, schedules and quality.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
\tManage all functions and ensure that production targets are met according to quality standards
\n\tConduct meeting with production teams in order to prioritise and plan daily and or shift activities
\n\tApply just in time principles as and when required
\n\tEnsure that all production resources are available timeously
\n\tMonitor\/ Control quality and all line activities throughout duration of the shift
\n\tEnsure effective shop floor planning according to load chart as well as advance\u00a0\u00a0planning.
\n\tEnsure that the set OEE is achieved for each of the operations stamping and assembly
\n\tLiaise with all supporting department regarding preventative and breakdown on machine and tools
\n\tEnsure proper usage and care of all equipment, tooling and material
\n\tEnsure that any production loss is followed up immediately
\n\tEnsure accurate and timeous completion of all production and quality related documentation
\n\tMonitor and reconcile expenditure against budget on a monthly basis Investigate and resolve any discrepancies<\/p>\n

\tDegree Production, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
\n\tMinimum 3-5 years quality background within the automotive environment.
\n\tMinimum 8 years\u2019 Assembly experience,
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 supervisory experience in Automotive Quality Environment
\n\tMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience in tool and jig manufacturing<\/p>\n
