Research, Development, and Innovation<\/p>\n
The Researcher is responsible for conducting research,\u00a0development and supporting innovation These include\u00a0supporting the following research aspects:<\/p>\n

\tStrategic Research partnerships \/ networks \/ collaborators.\u202f\u202f
\n\tIntra-Inter Institutional Collaboration & Partnerships.\u202f<\/p>\n
Human Capacity Building<\/p>\n
The Researcher is responsible for supporting Human\u00a0Capacity Development that includes support of\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProject staff and students.\u202f\u202f
\n\tSelf<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tPhD\u00a0in Biotechnology, Agronomy, Plant Production, or a closely related field, with demonstrated knowledge of\u00a0-omics technologies.
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 post-MSc research experience.
\n\t3\u20135 peer-reviewed scientific publications\u00a0relevant to phytochemical analysis.
\n\tProven expertise in\u00a0chemical analysis of plant samples, including qualitative and quantitative identification of compounds using\u00a0LC-MS, GC-MS, and related techniques.
\n\tDemonstrated ability to\u00a0write successful research proposals\u00a0and generate\u00a0external research funding.
\n\tExperience as a\u00a0speaker at national or international conferences.
\n\tProven ability to\u00a0initiate, plan, and execute research projects, including\u00a0personnel and financial management.
\n\tTrack record of\u00a0mentoring and\/or supervising postgraduate students.
\n\tEstablished\u00a0national and\/or international research collaborations or networks.
\n\tExperience working with\u00a0biologicals\u00a0is essential.
\n\tExperience in\u00a0cultivation R&D\u00a0will be an added advantage.
\n\tRegistration with a scientific and professional body will be an added advantage.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
