Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDeliver high-quality software solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and customer expectations; own outcomes for scope, quality, timelines, and cost.
\n\tGovern adherence to the chosen SDLC (Agile\/Waterfall\/Hybrid): planning, requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
\n\tLead agile ways of working: set sprint goals, run\/oversee ceremonies, clear impediments, and ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement.
\n\tDrive estimation quality, backlog prioritization with Product, and re-planning to adapt to changing requirements while protecting team focus.
\n\tEnsure the team\u2019s proficiency in core CS fundamentals (data structures\/algorithms) and application within the frontend and services stacks.
\n\tManager solution and service design: architect, develop, and evolve microservices in containerized environments; ensure secure, scalable patterns.
\n\tInstitutionalize version control discipline, CI\/CD, frequent incremental releases, automation, and effective work breakdown.
\n\tGuide cloud-native design across multiple cloud platforms; leverage managed services where appropriate for full-stack delivery.
\n\tTranslate architecture requirements into actionable specifications; de-risk emerging technology adoption and ensure production readiness.
\n\tStrengthen cross-functional collaboration (Product, QA, Platform\/SRE, Security) and transparent stakeholder communication.
\n\tDrive root-cause analysis, permanent fixes, and timely resolution of complex issues.
\n\tOptimise pipelines, developer experience, and delivery workflows; introduce pragmatic innovation.
\n\tEnsure solutions are customer-centred, value-adding, and aligned to business goals; measure outcomes, not only outputs.
\n\tEnforce secure-by-design practices and compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
\n\tBuild and lead a high-performing engineering team, hire and onboard effectively, set clear goals and expectations, coach and mentor, run regular 1:1s and feedback loops, and foster an inclusive, psychologically safe culture (measures: engagement\/eNPS, regrettable attrition, skills-matrix coverage, probation pass rate).
\n\tAlign roles and OKRs, plan squad capacity, conduct fair reviews and IDPs\/PIPs, manage succession and growth, and remove delivery blockers (measures: sprint predictability\/on-time delivery, throughput per FTE, performance distribution health, time-to-fill).<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Education:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
\n\tPostgraduate degree or relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle, TOGAF) will be advantageous.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t5-8 years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable digital solutions.<\/p>\n
Skills :<\/p>\n
\tProficiency in entire Java technology stack backed by\u00a0multiple projects and visible accomplishments
\n\tStrong knowledge of telecom systems, protocols and\u00a0industry standards (Preferred)
\n\tSolid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and webservices
\n\tDetailed knowledge of database management systems, SQL, and NoSQL databases
\n\tExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering robust and scalable solution<\/p>\n
