{"id":20425,"date":"2025-10-01T08:02:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/account-lead\/"},"modified":"2026-01-02T00:24:24","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T00:24:24","slug":"account-lead","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=20425","title":{"rendered":"Account Lead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Main purpose of the Job<\/p>\n<p>\tThe job holder will manage the MX Account (Network Operator) and set sales target with short-, mid- to long-term sales strategies based on the analysis of an assigned business unit&#8217;s market demands and internal\/competitors&#8217; sales data, identify business opportunities and risks in advance by providing sales support, and monitoring sales status to achieve sales targets.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tMaximize revenue and profit by setting sales strategies and plans that focuses on the assigned region\/market based on the sales strategies.<br \/>\n\tBuild the foundation for maximizing sales revenue and profit by providing continued support through communication with the assigned region\/market.<br \/>\n\t[Sales target management] Lead to set the optimal sales target that will drive the growth of the business unit and encourage employee morale.<br \/>\n\t[Sales strategy setting] Lead the optimal sales strategy that will allow to meet the sales target by analyzing the assigned market, product, and competitor data.<br \/>\n\t[Sales support] Direct the material and human resources support to a relevant region or business organization and their efforts to meet the sales target.<br \/>\n\t[Sales monitoring, opportunity identification and risk management] Lead the monitoring of sales and operation status and other issues and risk elimination through communication.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement effective strategic plans and goals to achieve sales objectives and budgets<br \/>\n\tPlan and implement sales promotional activities to assist with the achievement of sales objectives in co-ordination with KAM\u2019s, marketing, product and Merchandising Team.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with internal departments to ensure that sales objectives are met.<br \/>\n\tMonitor competitor activities by obtaining information on competitors and market trends and create future plans through insights<br \/>\n\tEnsure the profitability of the Sales portfolio<br \/>\n\tFocus on the successful and profitable sales of Strategic Products<br \/>\n\tGSCM Utilisation: Understand the trends in sales and supply using the GSCM (Global Supply Chain Management) for timely product sales and supply and devising countermeasures to potential risks.<br \/>\n\tPrepare and maintain accurate forecasts for all the Accounts and strategic customers on the Samsung GSCM system and meet target requirements<br \/>\n\tProactively manage the sales functions of the Key Accounts Managers responsible for driving sales through the major accounts<br \/>\n\tIncreased market growth within the Mobile Electronics market within South Africa<br \/>\n\tAdherence to Co-op budget and plan<br \/>\n\tEstablish and strengthen relationships between SSA and customers<br \/>\n\tTo develop sales employees\u2019 skills and sales competencies to ensure attainment of personal and company goals<br \/>\n\tSupport the Key Account Managers in all their business activities so as to optimize customer satisfaction and thereby enlarge the existing customer base.<br \/>\n\tHolistic understanding of turnover, gross profits, margins, Nett profits as well as profit and loss reports<br \/>\n\tAbility to immediately correct the business model should turnovers, profits and\/or margins not be met<\/p>\n<p>Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric<br \/>\n\tDiploma\/ Degree in Marketing and or Sales<br \/>\n\t5- 8 years\u2019 experience in Sales management within FMCG \/ IT \/ Telecoms or Related selling environment<br \/>\n\tPreference with someone that has worked with Telco (Telco Network) Operators<br \/>\n\t3 years people management experience (team leadership)<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Attributes<\/p>\n<p>\tNegotiation<br \/>\n\tPricing (incl.
