\tTo undergo practical exposure in the financial domain in order to meet SAICA’s prescribed 3 year learning objectives\/ outcomes.
\n\tThe Articles Clerk\u00a0will obtain exposure in the Technical Accounting, Statutory Accounting and Reporting, Internal Audit, Treasury, Taxation and Business Planning in\u00a0accordance with the SAICA training framework.
\n\tFurther the Article Clerk will be afforded an opportunity to venture into other business units within\u00a0the company in order to develop any residual\/ personal skills the SAICA Administrator and Trainee deem necessary.
\n\tThe article clerk will be part of\u00a0the leadership and communications program during the course of the training. Consistently strive for self-development and growth.
\n\tEnsure the\u00a0adequate completion of tasks allocated in respective sectors. Pro-actively assess and monitor own performance and completion of SAICA\u00a0competencies.
\n\tAttend and participate in the necessary SAICA workshops. Work towards developing and maintaining a good reputation and\u00a0work ethic.<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Undergo \u00a0SAICA Training Programme\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAttend all the Telkom School of Accounting meetings, trainings, and workshops.
\n\tFull participation and corporation on each rotation.
\n\tPerform the SAICA reviews and assessments on time.
\n\tShow progress in studies.
\n\tComply with SAICA Training regulations, Telkom Policies and Procedures.
\n\tArchive SAICA competencies within allocated training period
\n\tGain on the job exposure\/ training to achieve SAICA Training competences by developing the following skills:
