Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
\tHandling of drummed compressible nuclear waste, packed ventilation filters, compacted drums and filters, cementation of compacted drums and filters.
\n\tOperate a fully automated plant by means of a PLC and Scada System by coordinating with control room Operator.
\n\tResponsible to identify problems on the system and liaise with Supervisor for trouble shooting.
\n\tTeamwork with the operating team involved in the operation of the facility (\u00b1 five operators).
\n\tPerform routine and relevant activities strictly according to operating procedures.
\n\tEnsure that all safety instructions are adhered to.
\n\tEnsure that PPE are used at all relevant times and according to instructions.
\n\tEnsure that PPE are kept in acceptable conditions.
\n\tDo all necessary standby duties.
\n\tReport all incidents and near misses.
\n\tEnsure that working areas are kept clean and acceptable.
\n\tEnsure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained.
\n\tEnsure that everything is in its place
\n\tClean-up of contaminated area\/spillage etc. according to work instructions and safety instructions.
\n\tComply with NECSA\u2019s safety procedures and policies.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tGrade12
\n\tDriver\u2019s License (Minimum code 8 \/ EB)
\n\tAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in waste operation<\/p>\n
