Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent will be responsible for rendering a reliable support and advisory service through high quality non-destructive evaluation by conducting analysis, testing and diagnosis of information using the latest technology.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities will include:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPerforming an acceptance test to check for conformance with good engineering practice.
\n\tIdentifying critical equipment to be monitored by discussing with Section Engineers.
\n\tStudying the failure mode of the critical equipment and populate aggressive strategy to prevent, predict and prolong the life of the Plant Equipment using the latest technology such as magnetic particle inspection, wall thickness inspection, dye penetrant inspection, Ultrasonic flow inspection and visual inspection.
\n\tAnalysing, interpreting data and advising operations or maintenance divisions for corrective action.
\n\tRendering technical support and expertise to ensure availability of equipment.
\n\tFollowing up on the failure recommendation to quantify the value add.
\n\tTraining Artisans, Engineering students and Servicepersons on NDE technology methodologies.
\n\tFacilitate defect elimination (process to identify the possible causes of defects.)
\n\tProviding after-hours standby duties for maintenance and operations.
\n\tConducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement changes where required.
\n\tSending equipment for third parties or calibration.
\n\tBuilding and maintaining NDE database for trending and analysis.
\n\tResearching, developing and improving existing methods, technology, and physical equipment.
\n\tImplementing change as and when required.
\n\tMaintaining and improving Safety, Health and Environmental standards and practices.
\n\tPerforming high quality tasks related to the job.
\n\tImplementation of NDE Quality Control Standards Mine-wide.
\n\tCompiling reports on the status and the condition of the assets.
\n\tPresenting the reports to clients.
\n\tCapturing SAP notifications to initiate corrective action.
\n\tOrdering parts, spares and relevant materials and tools.<\/p>\n

\tMust have strong problem-solving skills.

\n\tMust have good communication skills.
\n\tMust have good knowledge NDE and maintenance philosophies.
\n\tAdvanced Computer literacy.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Non-Destructive Examination or equivalent in Electrical\/Mechanical qualification.
\n\tCertified level 2 in Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Ultrasonic Flow inspection.
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License.
\n\tMinimum of 3 years NDE experience.<\/p>\n
