The Retail Regional Manager also needs to ensure the growth of the IFA business, while achieving regional sales targets.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\nQualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tBCom degree in the following fields: Financial Planning, Financial Management, Investments, Business Management.<br \/>\n\tHonours degree is an advantage.<br \/>\n\tCFA and\/or CFP\u00ae is an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\t1 to 3 years start up successful business experience preference to financial services<br \/>\n\t5 to 8 years\u2019 financial service industry experience with majority in risk and saving.<br \/>\n\t3 to 5 years\u2019 relevant management experience.<br \/>\n\t3 to 5 years Momentum Leadership and Momentum Myriad and Investo experience an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge:<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong business acumen, with an ease to take decisions and initiating action.<br \/>\n\tIndustry related business process experience \u2013 new business, underwriting, claims.<\/p>\n<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\nBuild new business:<\/p>\n<p>\tThe RGM needs to recruit, train and vest retail consultants. He\/she needs to hunt for new advisers as well as get existing contracted non-supporting advisers to partner with Momentum. He\/she needs to drive sales in the retail product lines so as to ensure target achievement. (Myriad, Investo, Health. Estate plan and Funds@work.) The RGM needs to manage panel sizes, panel penetration and ensure that he has a healthy functioning team.<\/p>\n<p>People mobiliser:<\/p>\n<p>\tManage and effectively lead a diverse team of consultants to maximise their outputs and reach their performance targets.<br \/>\n\tContinuously drive the attraction and retention of the best consultants to match the IFA base in the region.<br \/>\n\tProvide regular performance feedback and job coaching.<br \/>\n\tMobilise, motivate support the consultants through a trust relationship.<br \/>\n\tSustain and motivate a team that will support the leader and their business plan.<br \/>\n\tManage consultants and their panels according to the panel management practice.<br \/>\n\tMonitor the number of meaningful visits done by consultants weekly and monthly to ensure visibility.<br \/>\n\tBuild pivotable relationships with all key stakeholders, including the Momentum product houses and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>High-performance culture:<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and execute the business plan outlined by Momentum Distribution Services (MDS) for the respective region.<br \/>\n\tSet and uphold performance standard in the team to continuously attract new IFAs.<br \/>\n\tSet annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for each consultant in the region.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and drive growth in sales distribution that are in support of strategic objectives of MDS.<br \/>\n\tCreate a team of high performers and a culture that drives growth, recognition, and competitiveness.<br \/>\n\tEnsuring the achievement of sales targets on a monthly and annual basis.<\/p>\n<p>Learning and Development Catalyst:<\/p>\n<p>\tEngage with product house specialists systematically and consistently to ensure the team is knowledgeable with the relevant Momentum products.<br \/>\n\tSupport and drive the various learning programmes that are run in MDS with the team.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate new content, product changes and enhancements to consultant and the IFA market.<br \/>\n\tConduct a product competitor comparison with the products offered by Momentum.<\/p>\n<p>IFA Acquisition and Connection:<\/p>\n<p>\tAcquire new sustainable IFA Relationships within the region.<br \/>\n\tTake ownership of the IFAs in the region to build meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships between the advisers and Momentum.<br \/>\n\tEnsure frequent engagement and marketing activities are facilitated by the team to IFAs.<br \/>\n\tDrive clear communication between IFA\u2019s and consultants.<br \/>\n\tActively monitor and report on IFA engagement and team output to the broader MDS.<br \/>\n\tEnsure advice-led and best practice principles engagements with IFA\u2019s.<br \/>\n\tDrive sound financial and corporate governance practices.<\/p>\n<p>Competencies\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tDeciding and initiating action: Takes responsibility for actions, projects and people;
