The Role:<\/p>\n
\tThe Sales Manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth by transitioning Sandvik\u2019s support approach from reactive to proactive, promoting all service portfolios (Rebuilds, Digitalization, Service Contracts, VMIs), and aligning customer service teams to build strong client relationships. The role includes resolving client issues, setting site-specific goals, and implementing personalized, solution-focused service strategies to support mining operations and boost sales.<\/p>\n
The Sales Managers will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in and contribute to the development of the Sales Area aftermarket strategic plan
\n\tEnsure performance management processes are implemented (including talent & succession planning & and performance development)
\n\tAssist the Operations Manager with new business in responsible areas
\n\tAssist Customers with Component forecasting and Critical parts lists
\n\tAssist with AR per Customer
\n\tEnsure the relevant activities (sales) are executed to increase the aftermarket revenue and customer service
\n\tEnsure the parts backlog is shared with the customer and work together with PSSRs in decreasing the parts backlog
\n\tImprove customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth
\n\tResponding to customer service issues promptly.
\n\tCreating effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards. (Ensure approval from Sandvik legal team)
\n\tDeveloping customer satisfaction goals and coordinating with the team to meet expectations and agreements on a steady basis.
\n\tTake ownership of customers\u2019 issues and follow problems through to resolution
\n\tKeep accurate records and documentation of customer service actions and discussions
\n\tAnalyse statistics and compile accurate reports
\n\tKeep ahead of the industry\u2019s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
\n\tControl resources and utilize assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
\n\tAdhere to and manage the approved budget
\n\tMaintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.<\/p>\n

Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tDiploma\/ Degree in Sales Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering
\n\tA minimum of 5 years Sales & Marketing Experience
\n\tOperational Experience will be advantageous
\n\tAdvanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint<\/p>\n
