Key Performance Outputs<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Technical Manager Enterprise Applications and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure quality and integrity of documentation.
\n\tEnsure all IT staff and service desk staff are trained on systems.
\n\tProvide input into application design to meet business requirements (i.e. Reach, range, capacity, redundancy, reliability)
\n\tParticipate in root cause analysis and problem management, working in conjunction with the Problem and Configuration Manager.
\n\tEnsure addition, update, modification or removal of any IT application in a standard and controlled manner
\n\tExecute processes and procedures.
\n\tSubmit reports within required timeframe.
\n\tIdentify and assess operational risks and ensure plans are developed to minimise potential threats
\n\tProvide technical \/ professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
\n\tEnsure synergy between the functional and technical teams.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that all software license agreements\/contracts are valid and in line with current utilization levels\u00a0
\n\tProvide input into the budgeting process to ensure that additional software license capacity is planned for as required.
\n\tEnsure that the team is adequately resourced and adequately skilled to perform their duties
\n\tAssign teamwork responsibilities and ensure distribution of work<\/p>\n
\u00a0Technical Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree (3 years – 360 credits) in Information Technology \/ Computer Science \/ Informatics is essential
\n\t6-8 years operational experience in Information Technology is essential.
\n\t4-6 years operational experience in Oracle e-Business Suite, IBM Websphere and Microsoft SharePoint and .Net is recommended.\u00a0
\n\tITIL Intermediate and 2 or more certifications related to this is required.<\/p>\n
