PURPOSE OF JOB<\/p>\n
\tOur client is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join their team. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver tailored document management solutions to prospective clients.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will work closely with sales teams, solution architects, and technical specialists to design, present, and implement scalable solutions that meet customer needs.
\n\tAs well as developing and delivering technical sales presentations, and identifying sales opportunities to meet sales targets.<\/p>\n
Pre-Sales Support:<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions.
\n\tConduct detailed technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops showcasing document management systems.
\n\tPrepare proof-of-concept (POC) setups to validate proposed solutions.<\/p>\n
Solution Design<\/p>\n
\tAnalyse customer workflows, systems, and business challenges to architect suitable document management solutions.
\n\tCreate solution proposals, system architectures, and technical specifications that align with client needs.
\n\tWork closely with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with company offerings.<\/p>\n
Technical Expertise<\/p>\n
\tStay updated with the latest developments in document management technologies, including imaging, workflows, compliance, and data storage.
\n\tServe as the technical point of contact for client inquiries during the pre-sales phase.
\n\tProvide input on product development and enhancements based on market trends and customer feedback.<\/p>\n
Client Engagement<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying new sales opportunities.
\n\tAddress technical concerns and objections to secure client confidence in proposed solutions.
\n\tAssist in responding to RFPs\/RFIs with comprehensive and accurate technical content.
\n\tCollaboration and Training
\n\tWork cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align strategies and objectives.
\n\tTrain and mentor team members and customers on document management products and solutions<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Key Skills & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tProven experience in document management, imaging solutions, or related fields.
\n\tPrevious sales experience with Cloud\/AWS services.
\n\tStrong technical background with expertise in high-volume image processing systems and workflows.
\n\tExcellent client interaction and communication skills.
\n\tExperience in solution architecture and developing technical documentation.
\n\tSales-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and align technical solutions with business objectives.
\n\tFamiliarity with compliance standards related to document management (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, POPIA).
\n\tAbility to present complex solutions in a simple, engaging manner to diverse audiences.
\n\tWillingness to travel to client sites as needed.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
\n\tExperience with enterprise document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Open-Text, On-Base, DocuWare, M-Files, Laserfiche).
\n\tCertification in document management or imaging technologies is a plus.<\/p>\n
