Purpose of Job<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of the role is to provide a continuous input and support into maintenance, shutdown and project planning activities at various business units and to apply the planning processes at an operational level. To follow the Work Management work instruction and RAPID<\/p>\n
Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tContinuously deliver on target and quality results as per individual performance agreement
\n\tSuccessful execution of shutdowns, general overhauls (GO), turnarounds (TA), projects and complex jobs
\n\tManage multi disciplined planning activities
\n\tLead, promote and meet expected output on planning deliverables
\n\tProviding of information\/reports on request from line management
\n\tExecute ad hoc projects assigned by line management
\n\tSupport leader to manage planning offices to enable a continuous service delivery to partners
\n\tAccountable for a reliable and achievable work package for execution week for all disciplines
\n\tEvaluate and verify correctness of notification information and act on deviations \u2013 (gate keeping function)
\n\tContribute to shutdown program validation
\n\tMonitor and coordinate execution of work activities and note deviations from program; Day-to-Day \/ Shutdowns, general overhauls (GO), turnarounds (TA), etc
\n\tUpdating of contingency work – ensure contingency process compliance
\n\tPlanning and control of leak seal activities \u2013 ensure leak seal process compliance
\n\tPlanning and control of pipeline, vessel and structural repairs \u2013 ensure RA process compliance
\n\tPlanning and control of statutory work \u2013 ensure statutory process compliance
\n\tOpen work order control as per agreed targets to support committed cost flow
\n\tFamiliar with materials, services, financial and other planning relates work methods
\n\tUse own expertise and experience to realize cost savings within the planning\/scheduling and execution of Day-to-Day, Shutdowns, general overhauls (GO), turnarounds (TA) and projects work
\n\tHave an influence to reduce maintenance cost; optimize and reduce equipment down time
\n\tProvide Bar \/ Gantt chart programs for projects and complex jobs
\n\tOptimize recourses required to execute work
\n\tResponsible for the smooth running of the maintenance planning office functionality
\n\tConfirm material\/spares requirements for job execution
\n\tEnsure work package readiness for execution by arranging permits and getting confirmation of availability of equipment, material\/spares, services and resources
\n\tUphold high safety standards and set example with quality BBS observations
\n\tAdheres to and ensures adherence to company safety standards \u2013 support safety through BBS culture<\/p>\n
Formal Education & Working Experience<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with Maths & Science + Trade Certificate + 3 years\u2019 work experience<\/p>\n
OR<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with Maths & Science + SAP PM Certified or Engineering National Diploma or NQF L5 Planner Qualification+ 2 years work experience<\/p>\n
OR<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with Maths & Science + National Senior Certificate with Maths & Science + internal Sasol Planner Certificate + 4 years work experience<\/p>\n
