As an Android Developer you\u2019ll be supporting the delivery of new applications and modify existing applications where applicable based on the client\u2019s needs, covering Design, Application development and Unit or other testing. What you\u2019ll be doing<\/p>\n
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
\tDesign
\n\tThey work with clients to perform a needs analysis to update and modify existing applications where applicable and develop new software applications that provide solutions to client needs.
\n\tThey design new and innovative applications for their clients.
\n\tThey create different codes and run the statements through the process to ensure their working.
\n\tThe Android Developer modifies these applications as per the requirements of the organisation and the clients.
\n\tThey test the source code, develop the source code, understand the client\u2019s requirements, design the prototypes and implement the codes to prevent any error.
\n\tWhere possible, reusable code is created.
\n\tThey maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
\n\tApplication Development
\n\tThe Android Developer is responsible for building and delivering scalable and low-latency services and applications for Android platforms and\/or single page web applications.
\n\tThey design prototype application(s), indicate program unit structure and information architecture.
\n\tThey coordinate application plans with all relevant parties.
\n\tThe Android Developer is accountable for driving the full development lifecycle of single page web applications and\/or Android application (concept, design, test, release, support, etc.) within deadline.
\n\tUnit or other testing
\n\tThe Android Developer is accountable for testing source code and debugging code runs.
\n\tThey run tests for the application while it is being designed, to ensure there is no issue.
\n\tThis role is responsible for evaluating existing applications and performing updates and modifications.
\n\tThis role is expected to analyse old applications whenever required, to find bugs in the code, and identify missing features to find a way to adjust the new features in the already designed application.
\n\tWhen they debug their applications, the Android Developer branches off the source code to make changes and then merges the code changes back into source or develops a new source code to remove the bugs.
