MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma\/Bachelor’s Degree\/ Advanced Diploma in IT or Computer Science
\n\tMinimum work experience of 5 \u2013 8 years with 2 years of Supervisory.<\/p>\n
KNOWLEDGE<\/p>\n
\tPerforms the full range of activities within the IT discipline or functional area; and
\n\tSupervises a number of staff and\/mentors other professionals.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and review the immediate, short- and long-term objectives\/plans and ICT Policies and Procedures to meet the current and future needs of the Municipality in a cost-effective and functional manner.
\n\tManage and revise the licensing options of hardware\/software according to legal standards to ensure licensed systems and software.
\n\tManage and oversee the establishment, stabilization, consolidation, and sustainability of Information Technology applications and Infrastructure initiatives within the Municipality, which include IT Security Management, servers, and IT Project Management.
\n\tManage and ensure optimal functioning of ICT systems and review server capacity to establish and plan future requirements.<\/p>\n
