\n\tThe insurance consultant role is focused on providing an end-to-end service and support to intermediaries.<\/p>\n
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?\u00a0<\/p>\n
This role is focused on, but not limited to.<\/p>\n
\tContribution to the net profit and growth targets for business.
\n\tDelivering exceptional service that exceeds customers\u2019 expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
\n\tProviding telephonic \/ email support to the intermediary on record, authorised representatives from the brokerage, and broker services.
\n\tDealing with general insurance and policy specific enquiries.
\n\tAnalysing the request from the intermediary and providing a quotation to secure the business (conversion).
\n\tInitiating out dials to intermediaries to discuss quotations and \/ or convert policies.
\n\tUndertaking client follow-ups when policies are cancelled to ascertain the reasons and attempt to retain the policy onto books.\u00a0
\n\tNew business issuance \/ policy maintenance\/ renewal \/ agri aspects of policies.
\n\tAssisting to resolve all insurance queries within required timeframe and compliance requirements.
\n\tManaging client expectation on expected turnaround times for submitted requests.
\n\tAdhering to underwriting criteria and regional requirements.
\n\tAssist with profiling the client with the best suitable product and underwriting criteria.
\n\tAssisting in implementing solutions for improvement.
\n\tAdhering to workforce management principles to ensure that we optimize productivity.
\n\tPrioritise own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timelines; use performance manage systems to improve personal performance.
\n\tEnsuring that business targets are met.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\t60 FAIS credits – Commercial lines
\n\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in Financial Services experience – Short Term Insurance – would be advantageous
\n\tA relevant insurance related qualification (e.g. NQF level 5) would be advantageous.
\n\tTertiary qualification would be advantageous \u00a0<\/p>\n
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills to request information and correspond with internal \/ external stakeholders.
\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills, collaborating with internal \/ external stakeholders.
