Minimum Qualification Required<\/p>\n
\tA post-matric qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology (or similar technical qualification) would be an advantage.<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience<\/p>\n
\tAt least 7-10 years\u2019 experience in an MIS or BI environment\/field.
\n\tPrevious experience in managing a team or department.
\n\tProven track record in leading large-scale BI, data warehouse, or information systems projects.
\n\tExposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake, or similar) would be highly advantageous.<\/p>\n
Key Deliverables include, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tProvide vision and strategy for Miway\u2019s migration to AWS and Snowflake, aligning with the Group\u2019s cloud journey.
\n\tDevelop and analyse systems to support employees and managers in effective decision-making.
\n\tDefine and implement strategies for both on-premise and cloud-based software and hardware systems.
\n\tEnsure quality of information through robust Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management practices.
\n\tLead and develop staff into critical role players across functional areas.
\n\tOversee procurement, budgeting, and planning for systems infrastructure (on-premise and cloud).
\n\tProvide training and assistance to staff on BI tools, data management, and cloud technologies.
\n\tOffer technical support and leadership for MIS operations and future process implementation.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills Required<\/p>\n
\tStrong proficiency with BI toolsets, Data Warehousing (SQL Server experience advantageous).
\n\tGood understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake) and modern data architecture.
\n\tAbility to troubleshoot and resolve complex systems-related problems while ensuring system security.
\n\tProficiency in Office applications, ERP software, and communication systems.<\/p>\n
Key Skills Required<\/p>\n
\tExpertise in planning and maintaining enterprise hardware, software, and cloud environments.
\n\tAbility to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
\n\tStrong Agile (Kanban) skills and focus on best practices\/models.
\n\tExperienced in leading transformation projects, ideally including cloud adoption.
\n\tStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.<\/p>\n
