\tTo generate and grow sales whilst maintaining required GP%, great agent relationships and high-level customer service by offering world-class itineraries to exceed agent & guests’ expectations.
\n\tTo secure, cost and present product to the agent\/guest accurately, efficiently, timeously by creating inspirational luxury travel. Have an excellent knowledge and good geographical understanding of all Southern and East African destinations as well as day-to-day regional logistics<\/p>\n

Detailed Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with the Reservations Manager on sales potential and any development on the agent relationship for all bookings.
\n\tContinuous communication and excellent service delivery to agents at all times.
\n\tBuild relationships with agents based on trust and support, knowing their business trends and guests needs, ad hoc attending relevant familarisation trips with agents (if and when required).
\n\tKeep Agents\u2019 booking information updated in the ARM (likes\/dislikes \u2013 booking habits etc.) Actual Agent Contact information will be updated by Sales\/Reservations Operations Managers.
\n\tKeep updated with all Wilderness and 3rd party product (AP), as well as technology updates.
\n\tStreamline operational negotiations by also reducing dead beds, waitlist chasing and maximising camp operations role to create those life-changing journeys for guests.
\n\tLiaise with RARA if rates, accommodation, transit points and activities are not loaded or correctly linked on the WW.
\n\tAttend all WS and AP training on a weekly basis, this knowledge facilitates exceeding expectations and accuracy in the booking process.
\n\tKeep apprised of company policies, procedures and system updates.<\/p>\n
CANDIDATE PROFILE<\/p>\n
Qualification:<\/p>\n
\tMatric certificate \u2013 with maths (minimum standard grade or above)\u00a0
\n\tTertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism\/hospitality.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\t2-3 years\u2019 experience at an Intermediate level.
\n\tExperience in handling customer relationships and developing & promoting product and services in the inbound travel industry.
\n\tComputer Literate (Microsoft Office, email, Internet)
\n\tProven English literacy.
\n\tWorking knowledge of TourPlan and WISH or similar booking\/operating system.\u00a0
\n\tGreat product knowledge on Southern & East Africa (Tanzania & Kenya)
\n\tPersonal or educational travel experience required
\n\tExcellent attention to detail.<\/p>\n

\tExcellent communication skills both written and oral, in English.
