\tWe are seeking a forward-thinking and detail-oriented SEO & Website Content Optimization Specialist to lead our organic growth initiatives. This role blends technical SEO and GEO strategy, and AI-driven search optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of search engine mechanics, structured content, and performance analytics, with the ability to implement and manage SEO and GEO strategies that improve discoverability and user experience across our digital properties.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
SEO Strategy & Technical Execution<\/p>\n
\tConduct keyword and intent research, including AI-generated queries and semantic search trends.
\n\tPerform technical SEO audits and implement on-page improvements (e.g., metadata, internal linking, page speed).
\n\tOptimize website content for traditional search engines and AI-powered tools (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT).
\n\tImplement structured data and schema markup to enhance discoverability.
\n\tMonitor and resolve crawl errors, broken links, and indexing issues.
\n\tCollaborate with developers to implement technical SEO and UX best practices.<\/p>\n
Website Content Strategy& Website Management<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute content strategies focused on website performance with SEO and AI content consumption trends.
\n\tCreate and optimize content for clarity, structure, and AI summarization (e.g., voice search, featured snippets).
\n\tManage website updates via CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Episerver).
\n\tCollaborate with content creators and designers to ensure all content aligns with SEO and GEO best practices and technical requirements. Backlink Outreach & Authority Building
\n\tDevelop and execute backlink acquisition strategies.
\n\tIdentify and engage with relevant websites, blogs, and influencers.
\n\tTrack and report on backlink performance and domain authority improvements.<\/p>\n
AI & Search Innovation<\/p>\n
\tStay current with developments in AI search (e.g., Google SGE, AI Overviews).
\n\tExperiment with prompt engineering and AI content tools to enhance productivity.
\n\tEducate internal teams on AI-friendly content practices and evolving search behaviors.<\/p>\n
Data Analysis & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tUse tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to track performance.
\n\tBuild and maintain dashboards and reports in Excel or Google Sheets.
\n\tProvide actionable insights based on data analysis to inform strategy.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
\n\t5+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing.
\n\tProficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
\n\tStrong writing and editing skills with an understanding of content structure and clarity.
\n\tExperience with CMS platforms and technical SEO implementation.
\n\tStrong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).
\n\tAwareness of how AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) influence content discovery.<\/p>\n
Preferred<\/p>\n
\tGoogle Analytics or SEO certification.
\n\tExperience optimizing content for AI-driven search engines and voice assistants.
\n\tFamiliarity with HTML\/CSS basics.
\n\tExperience with AI content tools (e.g., Surfer SEO, Clearscope, Jasper, Frase).
\n\tUnderstanding of E-E-A-T in the context of AI ranking systems.
\n\tFamiliarity with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.<\/p>\n
