\tStudying towards a Health & Safety related qualification
\n\tWilling to learn and be trained
\n\tAdministrative skills and Microsoft knowledge
\n\tMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):<\/p>\n
\tAssist with Safety Inductions and toolbox talks
\n\tEnsure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and other applicable legislations
\n\tEnsure compliance with the NEM Act
\n\tLearn how to identify hazards and risks in the workplace
\n\tTo be part of the drafting and review Committee for COP\u2019S
\n\tSubmit Safety documents to be loaded on the SHEQ system
\n\tAssist with drafting Legal Appointments
\n\tAssist with accident and incident investigations
\n\tTo be part of the Health and Safety committee meetings
\n\tLearn how to conduct internal and external audits
\n\tAssist employees with occupational health and safety matters
\n\tAssist the Safety Officer with visual inspections
\n\tTo report near misses, incidents and accidents<\/p>\n
