Overall Purpose of the job:<\/p>\n
\tBe able to do the installation of electronic equipment for the security industry at commercial and industrial premises from Alarms, Access control, CCTV, Fire, Installation, Wiring, Commissioning<\/p>\n
Minimum qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n
\tMatric or equivalent
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience as an Electronic Security technician
\n\tProgramming, wiring, installations and fault-finding experience
\n\tValid code 08 driver\u2019s license essential
\n\tMust be PSIRA registered (Grade E, D C)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Job Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tInstall and Program multiple alarm systems (Ajax, Paradox, Texecom, Caddx, IDS, DSC, Rhino, Risco)
\n\tInstallation and Maintenance of electric fences
\n\tSmart CCTV systems (Line crossing, Facial recognition, Street surveillance etc.)
\n\tIntegration of Electric fencing, CCTV, and Intruder alarm systems
\n\tSetup and maintenance of wireless, fibre and copper networks
\n\tInstallation of basic electricity e.g., DB Boards, Inverters, UPSs, and Generators
\n\tOversight and design of big projects
\n\tIT and Network support
\n\tAccess Control systems (Bio-Metrix, UHF, Facial recognition, and Access cards)<\/p>\n
Main duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tProgram system as per specifications
\n\tPlan the cable runs with the wireman
\n\tObtain customer codes before attending a call daily and when on Standby
\n\tComplete handovers
\n\tComplete job cards after every installation
\n\tProvide feedback to Manager \/ Supervisor and Call Centre upon completion of a call
\n\tKeep stock up to date and assist store man with stock take
\n\tKeep the company vehicle clean
\n\tSubmit petrol slips<\/p>\n
