Description<\/p>\n
\tConduct daily equipment pre-start safety check noting any sub-standard conditions and report such instances to the Site Supervisor;
\n\tLoad the MMU with the correct raw materials;
\n\tCalibrate the MMU monthly, to ensure that it delivers the correct blend of raw materials;
\n\tMonitor safety systems on the MMU during operation;
\n\tBe fully conversant with and able to control the MMU through the IBIS control system and any future variants of the IBIS system;
\n\tConduct on bench quality checks on drill pattern, blast hole depths and stemming lengths;
\n\tMake up primers and prime blast holes;
\n\tIdentification of any abnormal conditions on the MMU and within the work area and reporting thereof to Supervision;
\n\tMaintain ownership of bulk explosives MMU including housekeeping of the cab, chassis and plant;
\n\tMinimize and clean up any raw material spillage and dispose of any spillage in the correct waste streams;
\n\tContribute to the review and generation of Enaex Africa \u2013 \u00a0Mining Services Works Instructions;
\n\tParticipate and actively contribute to Enaex Africa \u2013 \u00a0Mining Services and Customer induced safety initiatives;
\n\tConduct 1st line maintenance i.e changing of bled pump, water stator, diesel stator, proxy cable and gassing stator;
\n\tDecontamination of trucks.<\/p>\n

\tGrade 12 (Must)
\n\tPossession of a valid code 14 Drivers\u2019 license with handling of a manual transmission gear-box (Must)
\n\t2 years driving experience in the same license category (Must)
\n\tPossession of a valid Professional Driver Permit (PrDP) for dangerous goods (Must)
\n\tFit to work at heights (Must)
\n\tBlasting Assistant Certificate (Advantage)
\n\tCompetency A Certificate (Advantage)
\n\tWorking at heights Certificate (Advantage)<\/p>\n
