\tThe Site Controller represents Value Logistics on site by efficiently managing the costs and fleet and ensuring the best possible service regarding delivery planning and fleet Management.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities\u00a0
\nVehicles<\/p>\n
\tMaintain services of vehicles
\n\tMaintain vehicle cleanliness and good overall condition
\n\tFacilitate Hiring of Ad-hoc vehicles
\n\tDaily vehicle tracking
\n\tManage Vehicle workshop costs<\/p>\n
Debriefing<\/p>\n
\tMonitor Stats \/ Check PODs meet Value\/client standards
\n\tCheck that all driver debriefing forms are accounted for
\n\tPOD returns
\n\tCustomer queries on POD
\n\tAnalysing trip sheets on vehicle arrivals
\n\tMovement reports checked against trip sheets<\/p>\n
Administration<\/p>\n
\tSite Reports
\n\tBreakdowns
\n\tMaintain control wages: recording of times of staff
\n\tScheduling of staff and vehicles
\n\tEnsuring productivity of vehicles and staff<\/p>\n
Accidents<\/p>\n
\tCompletion of all accident \/ incident documents (Value Documents)
\n\tSchedule regular driver training sessions with DTA to prevent unnecessary damages
\n\tTo ensure on time Driver PRDP renewals in order to prevent illegal activities or fines
\n\tTo manage all driver fines on time when requested from Line management, and take appropriate action where a trend is identified<\/p>\n

\tPlanning and dispatching of all local loads leaving the sites
\n\tOversee scheduling of delivery planning and staff in order to ensure load utilisation and staff productivity is up to the client standard and expectation
\n\tReceiving and dispatching stock<\/p>\n

\n\tDriver scheduling
\n\tCustomer delivery sequence<\/p>\n
Daily Duties<\/p>\n
\tFiling of all reports and queries i.e. R & M
\n\tBreakdown management
\n\tClaims management
\n\tDaily Operations Report
\n\tDaily dispatch as per client requirements
\n\tMaintaining drivers and vehicles files
\n\tWeekly wages
\n\tWeekly reports KM, fuel & wages
\n\tVehicle checklists control
\n\tDaily stats
\n\tEdc fuel control
\n\tCo-ordinate Ad hoc and replacement vehicle hires
\n\tReceiving stock from the client factory
\n\tSupervising the onsite staff<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (Matric)
\n\t2-3 years\u2019 experience in a Logistics environment<\/p>\n
Skills Requirements<\/p>\n
\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
\n\tPlanning experience
\n\tFleet supervision
\n\tStaff supervision<\/p>\n
