The role<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of this role is to actively promote and sell parts, tools, and service to support customers in alignment with their needs in an efficient manner.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
\tActively promote, sell parts and services to support customers with their needs
\n\tIdentify and follow up on sales opportunities to convert quotations to orders in-line with customer needs
\n\tProcess customer orders timely, expedite, and follow through until the order is delivered.
\n\tMaintain a high level of proactive call availability and follow-up activity to produce a high level of output to reach sales targets
\n\tResolve system and\/or order issues as and when picked up to support customers in planning production and maintenance activities
\n\tReport and escalate customer critical orders\/inquiries to the Logistics and\/or Technical Solutions teams and keep the customer informed of progress on such escalated orders and\/or inquiries.
\n\tGenerate and disseminate relevant reports to specific stakeholders (e.g. back-order report etc.)
\n\tConduct cold calling to acquire new customers<\/p>\n
Profile Required<\/p>\n
\tMatric\/equivalent qualification
\n\tRelevant post Matric qualification is advantageous
\n\tSales experience in a mining environment is advantageous
\n\t3 -5 years\u2019 experience in the customer call centre in a fast-paced sales environment
\n\tKnowledge of the processes, tools, and techniques for selling goods and services over electronic channels
\n\tAbility to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under tight time constraints
\n\tAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders in writing and\/or verbally
\n\tHigh level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity
\n\tAbility to analyse data and provide insights
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
\n\tEnglish proficiency
\n\tPhysically and medically fit to work in a mining environment
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
