\tHello\u2026 an exciting new opportunity has just become available in Hollard Insure, COE division. We are looking to recruit an Underwriter\/Sales Consultant at Hollard Equipage, based in Gauteng.<\/p>\n
Role Objectives:<\/p>\n
\tSales and advice on Equine and Pet insurance policies.
\n\tEnhance the image of the company through the continuous delivery of efficient and effective customer service.
\n\tMarketing Hollard Equipage in the Gauteng and on Social Media.
\n\tProcessing and inputting policies within the set standards required by the company thus contributing to the productivity of the division<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCustomer service: Maintain a high level of service to customers and brokers.
\n\tEffective and timeous communication: Communicate in a professional manner with internal and external parties and respond to queries within 24 hours.
\n\tTo execute the sales process with diligence and integrity.
\n\tTo communicate with potential customers in a skillful and knowledgeable manner.
\n\tTo optimise each lead allocated to the consultant.
\n\tTo use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of our products from potential customers.
\n\tTo accurately identify needs by asking effective questions and listening attentively.
\n\tMatch benefits accordingly and demonstrate how products satisfies the customers\u2019 needs.
\n\tTo understand objections and overcome them with an appropriate response.<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAttention to detail is essential
\n\tGood telephone manner & listening skills.
\n\tFlexibility \u2013 show positive response to change. Must be a fast learner and able to work under pressure.
\n\tCustomer focused \u2013 needs to understand and respond effectively to customer needs and offer polite and efficient service at all times.
\n\tResults oriented \u2013 needs to know what is required and take appropriate action.
\n\tFluent in English and Afrikaans.
\n\tBe able to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
\n\tAbility to multi-task.
\n\tEquine and Pet knowledge.
\n\tInsurance knowledge and qualifications an advantage.
\n\tMust understand insurance terminology.
\n\tUnderwriting knowledge (ability to interpret policy wording, understanding how claims information impacts on underwriting).
\n\tBasic financial knowledge (estimates, premiums, endorsements)<\/p>\n
Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) \u2013 numeracy and literacy (English & Afrikaans)
\n\tFull FAIS accreditation in Short Term Insurance an advantage.
\n\tRE Qualification an advantage.
\n\tComputer literate
\n\tEquine and Pet knowledge as well as basic veterinary knowledge<\/p>\n
