Purpose of Job<\/p>\n
\tTo manage the implementation of the security strategy and vision.
\n\tTo identify and assess internal and external security risks.
\n\tTo align the strategy of the service delivery with business requirements regarding Sasol Group security standards and Sasol Group directions.<\/p>\n
Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tManage associated security strategic programmes and priorities.
\n\tEnhance security services and monitor compliance with agreed KPI’s, Service Level Commitments (SLCs), and customer expectations.
\n\tPartner with internal BUs to customise security needs and create a balance between operations\/business and security objectives.
\n\tOptimise utilisation of resources and control cost effectively within allocated budget. Identify, address, and report deviations.
\n\tPrepare and deliver consolidated reporting and reviews of budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders related to security services.
\n\tCoordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting by the service delivery team of statistical data and analysis.
\n\tProvide accurate and current assessment of security service objectives, cost savings, and improvements.
\n\tDevelop and maintain security infrastructure to ensure alignment to Security industry best practices.
\n\tFollow up on the safe and effective provision of security services.
\n\tEvaluate security preparedness by utilising technology as a force multiplier and improving the tactical capacity.
\n\tProvide feedback to management and relevant stakeholders on the security cost operating model and new projects and initiatives.
\n\tEnforce compliance with National Key Points (NKP) requirements, security and safety legislations, codes of practice, and Sasol Group standards.
\n\tSurvey the effective management of security relevant documentation and legal appointments to enable sustainable operations.
\n\tMonitor the proper implementation of continuous improvements to ascertain alignment with security industry best practices and the sound utilisation of technology.
\n\tDirect the identification of customer needs and delivery upon them.
\n\tNegotiate deliverables, develop SLCs, and track achievement of targets.
\n\tApply evidence-based SHE practices, in alignment with set standards, to ensure safe operations.
\n\tImplement Sasol Group’s risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework.
\n\tBuild and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders within the security industry to share knowledge and best practices about the national security.
\n\tContinuously improve own skills and knowledge.
\n\tComplete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.
\n\tManage team performance and development formally and informally based on standard practices in use across Sasol Group.
\n\tIdentify and activate learning as required based on individual and collective needs.
\n\tNurture a team spirit and openness towards feedback, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.<\/p>\n
