As the Strategic Fundraising Lead, based in Durban (Westville), you will work alongside our Partnerships Operations Lead to unlock new corporate, philanthropic, and global partnerships that ensure the sustainability and expansion of our impact. \u00a0The role focuses on driving resource growth by identifying and pursuing funding prospects, cultivating relationships with potential donors and partners, and converting opportunities into secured commitments that advance DMF\u2019s mission and long- term sustainability.<br \/>\n\tThe Strategic Fundraising Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of the DO MORE Foundation (DMF). This individual is responsible for identification, cultivation and conversion of funding and in-kind opportunities, with a primary focus on:<br \/>\n\tNurturing and managing the relationship with RCL FOODS, the foundation\u2019s founding partner, to maximise shared value and align DMF\u2019s impact with RCL FOODS\u2019 corporate social investment goals.<br \/>\n\tUnlocking value for RCL FOODS business units by identifying partnership opportunities with DMF that support both commercial and social impact objectives.<br \/>\n\tDeveloping new funding streams within South Africa and the UK, securing sustainable partnerships that amplify DMF\u2019s long-term impact.<br \/>\n\tThis role is for a connector, a strategist, and a builder, someone who can open doors, forge high-value relationships, and inspire others to do more.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s Degree (business related).<br \/>\n\tExperience in the corporate\/corporate social investment space preferred.<br \/>\n\t8 &#8211; 10 years\u2019 Experience in a Corporate or CSI environment.<br \/>\n\tExperience in commercial roles partnering with Senior Leaders and a passion for customer centricity would be preferable.<br \/>\n\tProven Project Management experience.<\/p>\n<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\nRelationship &amp; Partnership Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tPrimary Liaison with RCL FOODS: Build and maintain a strategic relationship with RCL FOODS to ensure DMF\u2019s initiatives align with and add value to RCL FOODS business and corporate social impact objectives.<br \/>\n\tUnlock Value for RCL FOODS Business Units: Identify partnership opportunities that drive both commercial benefits and positive social impact for various RCL FOODS business units.<br \/>\n\tDevelop New Funding Streams: Secure financial and in-kind partnerships with corporate stakeholders, ensuring sustained funding for DMF\u2019s initiatives.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate Across DMF Team: Coordinate with the CEO, DMK UK team, and DMF Project Leads to maximise funding and partnership opportunities.<br \/>\n\tEngage Internal RCL FOODS Stakeholders: Ensure clear communication and alignment between DMF and RCL FOODS business units to foster mutual benefits.<br \/>\n\tFoster Long-Term Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with CSI teams, corporate donors, and philanthropic partners.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Growth &amp; Value Creation:<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and Execute Partnership Strategies: Align funding and engagement strategies with DMF\u2019s growth goals and RCL FOODS business objectives.<br \/>\n\tLeverage Existing Partnerships: Optimise current relationships to increase funding, collaboration, and long-term commitment.<br \/>\n\tUnlock New Opportunities for RCL FOODS: Identify and propose partnership models where DMF\u2019s work can create shared value for RCL FOODS business units and their stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tExplore Innovative Funding Models: Implement creative funding solutions that align with DMF\u2019s mission and the commercial goals of corporate partners.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Thought Leadership:<\/p>\n<p>\tRepresent DMF in Corporate &amp; Philanthropic Networks: Position DMF as a trusted partner for corporate social investment and shared value initiatives.<br \/>\n\tEngage in Public Speaking &amp; Advocacy: Advocate for DMF\u2019s mission at industry events, panels, and strategic meetings to elevate its profile.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with RCL FOODS Business Units: Act as a connector, identifying collaboration opportunities between DMF and RCL FOODS teams to drive both social impact and business value.<br \/>\n\tPartner with Marketing &amp;
