WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE<\/p>\n
\tAudit: Engage and management of external auditors
\n\t\u00a0Providing information and responses to audit queries
\n\t\u00a0Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
\n\t\u00a0Preparation of local only year-end adjustments
\n\t\u00a0Preparation of annual impairment test
\n\t\u00a0Address action points from internal audit reports
\n\t\u00a0Quarterly & Year end reporting activities
\n\tResponsible for IFRS 16 reporting and communication of contract additions, modifications or deletion to global team
\n\tPreparation of IFRS 9 provision
\n\tResponsible for preparation of current and deferred tax calculations
\n\tResponsible for pension and Long-term service award submissions to the Global pensions team including IAS 19 valuations
\n\tPreparation and presentation of Balance sheet review file for review with VP finance
\n\tPreparation of information for annual V800 submissions
\n\tResponsible for preparation of liquidity and solvency test for dividend declarations
\n\tPreparation for quarterly pension forecast submissions
\n\t\u00a0Monitor Blackline access levels
\n\t\u00a0SCOA changes as communicated by the Global team
\n\t\u00a0Resolving intercompany mismatches at month end
\n\t\u00a0Insurance questionnaire
\n\t\u00a0BBBEE reporting
\n\t\u00a0SAP – key user testing for Change Requests (CR)
\n\t\u00a0Monthly activities
\n\t\u00a0Preparation of Free cash flow
\n\t\u00a0Balance sheet hygiene-clearing of aged items
\n\t\u00a0Process journals on Blackline
\n\tResolving SCOA validation errors
\n\t\u00a0Monthly pensions and Long-term service awards reporting (Including check to GL)
\n\t\u00a0Intercompany accruals
\n\tPreparation of OP to Local recon and local balance sheet
\n\t\u00a0Attend month end calls between OC and 3rd party- TB Review, CLM, NFD
\n\tTB Review – Attend TB Review with OC & CG and ensure all outcomes\/actions are closed out hold relevant parties accountable
\n\tCLM – Attend CLM Review with Controller, FA, OC & CG and ensure all outcomes\/actions are closed out – hold relevant parties accountable
\n\tCalculation of monthly service fee payable to Unilever PLC
\n\tMonitoring audit fees monthly
\n\t\u00a0Assisting the business with accounting queries
\n\tVerification of daily payroll payments and releases
\n\tTracking and monitoring of over-due intercompany accounts and focusing on collection of outstanding receipts
\n\tControl Dashboard – central feedback point and commentary for the FM\/Controller and VP.
\n\tPrepare feedback summary for monthly NFD meeting
\n\tCHI Lead – Country service recipient for Control Health Monitoring for R2R and P2P – attend all meetings and follow up on open tickets and drive closure.
\n\tBank allocation assistance to CG for unallocated bank items
\n\t\u00a0Pensions – reallocation journals processed on behalf of Pensions
\n\tGeneral Ledger Master data changes and updates
\n\tInternal Audit and Controls team – assist IC & Controls with audit requests & provide relevant
\n\tEnsure the roll forward of GL, AP & AR balances are completed by CG post year end (Annual)<\/p>\n

\n\t1-2 years’ experience post qualification (beneficial))<\/p>\n
