Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe’re looking for a highly analytical Finance Data Analyst to join our Operations team, working at the intersection of Finance, Revenue Operations (RevOps), and cross-functional stakeholders. You’ll provide deep financial insights that drive strategic decision-making across revenue forecasting, client billing, profitability assessments, and ad hoc financial analysis.
\n\tYou’ll serve as a critical bridge between data and operational decisions, ensuring our financial operations are both accurate and relevant. Although this role is embedded within the Operations team, you will collaborate with Finance and RevOps teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and transparency of financial data across the organisation. You’ll influence how we track and improve profitability, revenue trends, and reporting frameworks\u2014both in daily reporting and bespoke strategic initiatives. You’ll be reporting to the VP, Operations.<\/p>\n
Your primary responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
\tFinancial Reporting – Create and analyse recurring (BAU) reports around client billing, revenue performance, and profitability.
\n\tCollaborate on data collection, governance and analysis of monthly recognition and forecasting cycles.
\n\tMaintain analysis to support Finance and RevOps teams with up-to-date, accurate metrics.
\n\tCross-Functional Collaboration – Act as a partner to Finance and RevOps to agree on revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and client-level profitability.
\n\tParticipate in finance system transition efforts (e.g., Sage X3 to NetSuite) by supporting data migration, validation, and process adaptation.
\n\tAd Hoc & Strategic Analysis – Conduct exploratory and on-demand financial analysis to support projects, business cases, and performance reviews from department leads and senior leadership.
\n\tIdentify trends, outliers, or risks within financial datasets and raise them for consideration.
\n\tData Operations & System Support – Extract, clean, and prepare data from financial systems and standard SQL-based tables.
\n\tEnsure data integrity across spreadsheets, internal platforms, and financial software.
\n\tPropose process improvements in financial data handling, reporting automation, or analysis frameworks.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\t3+ years of experience in a financial analysis, data analyst, or FP&A role.
\n\tComfortable working with financial software platforms (experience with Sage X3 and\/or NetSuite a strong plus).
\n\tFunctional familiarity with SQL\u2014able to write simple queries to extract and interpret data.
\n\tDetect anomalies or inconsistencies in data.
\n\tTranslate financial insights for non-financial audiences.
\n\tTools (Big Query, Looker, Excel\/ Google sheets)
\n\tExperience supporting cross-functional financial initiatives with RevOps, AP, or AR teams.
\n\tExposure to BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.<\/p>\n
