Operational Delivery:<\/p>\n
\tGathers business requirements, executes projects and derives business insights.
\n\tCollects data and builds fit for purpose dashboards and reports based on requirements.
\n\tTroubleshooting of data issues and providing fit for purpose solutions with data engineering best practices
\n\tComplete projects\/tasks assigned or working with other staff (internal \/external) and following up on assigned projects\/tasks. Partnering with business stakeholders to unpack data management requirements and design for future requirements based on future needs.
\n\tCollaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security
\n\tLead and manage a team of data engineers responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data infrastructure and systems.<\/p>\n
Data Engineering:<\/p>\n
\tDesign and implement robust Extract Transform Load (ETL) frameworks and processes.
\n\tDesign and implement robust data integration strategies and processes.
\n\tDevelop and implement data management (architecture and 1 \/ 3 o integration) policies, procedures, and best practices Manage data engineering projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
\n\tDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems and enable data analytics.
\n\tAcquire and integrate data from different sources and enable integrated reporting.
\n\tRecruit, train, and mentor data engineering team members to promote growth and professional development Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tA Degree, or Higher National Diploma, or equivalent certification in an analytical field, e.g. Informatics, Data Science, Commerce Certification advantageous (SQL, Data Engineering, Architecture, Ab Initio etc.)<\/p>\n
EDUCATION and\/or EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\t4-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
\n\tData warehousing and integration experience
\n\tAbility to perform complex data analysis and data deep dives Experience in building large data repositories.<\/p>\n
