Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tAdherence to safe work practices and good housekeeping.
\n\tInspection of work equipment and report machine malfunction.
\n\tConduct inspection of processed coils from production lines.
\n\tSampling of raw materials and testing.
\n\tConduct the verification and calibration of equipment.
\n\tAdvise on deviations from standards and defects.
\n\tPerform quality trials and tests.
\n\tAssist in ensuring production of quality product.
\n\tMaintain records and provide reports.
\n\tTechnical report writing<\/p>\n
Additional\/specific work requirements:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with the requirements of Safety, Health and Environment Standards and Procedures.
\n\tMaintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment, free of any spillages or obstacles.
\n\tMonitor and adhere to Safal Steel operating standards, working manuals, working instructions and procedures
\n\tInitiate, participate and implement improvement programs and initiatives. This includes developing methods to improve plant performance and reduce operating cost.
\n\tContinuously reporting observed defects and deviations on the operating parameters and productionrequirements and promptly communicate solutions to the Quality Manager<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with technical qualification in engineering or quality.
\n\tKnowledge of quality tools e.g. Ishikawa, RCA, Pareto and SPC.
\n\tGeneral work experience (years): One Year quality experience preferably from a steel manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n
