ABOUT THE ROLE<\/p>\n
\tAs the Occupational Therapist, you will focus on hands-on clinical care\u2014assessing each patient\u2019s functional needs, designing evidence-based treatment plans, and guiding them toward greater independence in everyday activities.
\n\tYou will contribute your expertise to an interdisciplinary team committed to person-centred rehabilitation and measurable, high-quality outcomes.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS\/TRAINING<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in occupational therapy with community-service year completed
\n\tRegistered with the HPCSA as an independent practitioner and covered by malpractice insurance
\n\tCPD portfolio up to date in line with HPCSA standards
\n\tBobath \/ Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) training an advantage
\n\tBasic or intermediate wheelchair assessment\/prescription skills beneficial
\n\tDriving assessment training beneficial
\n\tKeen interest in adult neurological rehabilitation
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in neurology, cognitive therapy, and spinal-cord injury care
\n\tBroad clinical exposure, including orthopaedics, SCI, and neurology
\n\tCollaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within an interdisciplinary team
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence and reliable own transport<\/p>\n
