{"id":21200,"date":"2025-10-09T16:00:20","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T16:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/employee-relations-officer-legal-specialist-company-secretary-senior-speci\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T00:24:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T00:24:14","slug":"employee-relations-officer-legal-specialist-company-secretary-senior-speci","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=21200","title":{"rendered":"Employee Relations Officer \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Legal Specialist \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Company Secretary \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Senior Specialist : Risk and Compliance Management \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Specialist Scientist \u2013 Economic Geologist \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Chief Information Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>Employee Relations Operation Process<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the maintenance of harmonious and productive relations between management and staff.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate management and organised labour meetings and\/or events.<br \/>\n\tAdvise line managers on disciplinary and grievance policy, process and procedures.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate the management of grievances, disputes and disciplinary matters.<br \/>\n\tAssist in conducting investigations and writing the report thereof.<br \/>\n\tProvide administrative support to Employment Equity Committee, Bargaining Forum and any other ad hoc forums.<br \/>\n\tProvide input to the development and refinement of the Employment Equity Plan.<br \/>\n\tProvide employee relations administrative support.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and facilitate training and workshops in all employee relations interventions.<br \/>\n\tPrepare relevant pack for dispute resolution.<br \/>\n\tAssist in representing the organisation at the CCMA for dispute resolutions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Project Management<\/p>\n<p>\tContribute actively and proactively to the initiatives, projects and activities in which the HR management team are engaged.<br \/>\n\tAssist in scoping project plans related to identified ER interventions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Stakeholder Relations<\/p>\n<p>\tContinually support the maintenance of effective relationships with both line managers and staff.<br \/>\n\tContribute to the implementation of negotiating mechanisms with organised labour.<br \/>\n\tSupport in building capacity of line management and\/or organised labour on ER.<br \/>\n\tServicing the Bargaining Forum meetings with the Management and Labour.<br \/>\n\tEnsures that the Disciplinary Code is clearly communicated within the various Divisions\/Business Units.<\/p>\n<p>Quality Management<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement and maintain a comprehensive ER administration system.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance to ER policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tMonitor, track and report ER key performance indicators.<br \/>\n\tEnsure Compliance with relevant Legislation.<br \/>\n\tIdentify risks and threats to the ER process\/functions proactively.<\/p>\n<p>People Management<\/p>\n<p>\tCompile and submit own personal development plan.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in continuous professional development initiatives\/interventions to keep abreast with new technologies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tSupport and participate in the learning and development requirements of employees.<\/p>\n<p>EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12;
