\tWe are recruiting for a Catering Manager for our Corporate client. \u00a0The Catering Manager will be responsible for guiding the kitchen staff perform to efficiently, whilst establishing standard menu options and recipes, ordering the food and supplies necessary to make these dishes, and overseeing kitchen and line staff in Canteen environment. \u00a0
\n\tEnsure high quality of food preparation, presentation and service is up to Feedem standards by meeting all quality\/star grading standards in all areas of responsibility.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMust have Tertiary culinary qualification or Chef diploma\u00a0
\n\tMust have Previous 3 years managerial experience in a Retirement Sector\u00a0
\n\tSpecial diet knowledge
\n\tExcellent food skills required and resale experience.
\n\tOperational Standards: Performance management, financial analysis, Computer proficiency & Human Resources
\n\tEntrepreneurial skills: Strategic management, Outcome focus & Productivity
\n\tInterpersonal Skills: Client\/customer interface, Managing Group process & Communication skills.
\n\tStrong admin skills
\n\tAbility to build and maintain a motivated team in a dynamic environment<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tLeadership and Team Management\u00a0
\n\tEnsure staff performance meets operational efficiency goals.
\n\tMonitor daily tasks and key perfomance indicators (KPIs)
\n\tDelegate tasks to optimize staff workflow and minimize overtime.
\n\tRequest approval from Project Manager for overtime or staffing changes.
\n\tFinancial and cash management\u00a0
\n\tEnsure all cash is reconciled daily and reported weekly.
\n\tMonitor budget variences and inform District Manager of any discrepancies\u00a0
\n\tOperations and administration\u00a0
\n\tMonitor stock variances\u00a0
\n\tEnsure reports are completed on time and submitted to the Regional Office.
\n\tCustomer Service Excellence.
\n\tMonitor customer complaints and log resolutions.
\n\tDelegate customer feedback tasks to front of house staff.<\/p>\n
