\tAn opportunity has become available for an Audit Manager to join Forvis Mazars in South Africa. \u00a0The role is based at our Gauteng office.
\n\tThe purpose of the role will be to perform audit related duties, manage the audit team, provide direction, supervision and review for each audit assignment.
\n\tFurthermore, to be responsible to ensure overall audit quality standards are met for all engagements. Supporting business development and building client relationships will also be key aspects of the role.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tManage resourcing and plotting of staff members on audit engagements
\n\tWork allocations as required by individual audit assignments
\n\tAudit assignment budget planning and management
\n\tMonitoring and evaluation of performance in relation to budget
\n\tConduct full audit file reviews and related reports to ensure the relevant files are in compliance with the requirements set out by Forvis Mazars Audit Methodology, ISA\u2019s and relevant accounting framework
\n\tProduce client reports (AFS, Minutes, Certificates, Management letters etc.)
\n\tPropose and finalise audit opinions
\n\tPerformance management of staff members including, continuously providing feedback to staff
\n\tProvide technical assistance to staff members (where required)
\n\tPropose billings and manage WIP
\n\tMaintain and build excellent client relationships
\n\tParticipate in business development efforts including targeting, lead generation, proposals etc.
\n\tTraining, coaching and mentoring of audit staff<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tQualified CA(SA)
\n\tMinimum 2 – 3 years\u2019 post articles experience
\n\tProficient in CaseWare
\n\tRegistered as a SAICA Assessor advantageous
\n\tA thorough knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SME and ISA Core<\/p>\n
